Tiger Lily Monalisa Of P.A.R. 6M Tiger Lily

P.A.R. Speckle Park Ranch was started in 1988, when we purchased two cows from John Herbert.  Another major part of our start was from Ed and Kathy Smith, from whom Roland leased a few cows and later bought the entire herd.  Using these cows and breeding to our new bloodlines we developed some of the best progeny in the breed.

A lot of the more prominent herd sires were developed at P.A.R. including Little Eddie II, New Design, Mr. Powerstroke, King Pin, Moo Fassa, Hemorrhoid, Great Western, Pappa Razzi, and Rollin Stone.  The P.A.R. bloodlines are very visible around the world.

We run 65-70 purebred Speckle Park cows.  Our customers are from all over Canada, Ireland, England, Australia, and the United States.  We have been very heavily involved with the breed since its inception as an evolving breed in 1993 through to distinct breed status in 2006.

With excellent feed efficiency and carcass quality, the Speckle Park has won the carcass class at the Calgary Stampede for the past two years - being in the top three or four for the past fifteen years.  The breed is polled and offers excellent calving ease with vigorous calves.  Developed near the Lloydminster, Saskatchewan area, the Speckle Park offers many advantages to cattlemen everywhere.

We have semen and embryos available, as well as bulls and heifers, and welcome your visits and inquiries.
